An exciting and challenging position exists as a full-time Sales Manager at Date Night’s head office in Calgary. We are looking for an experienced self starter who is highly organized, outgoing and has experience with key account acquisition, management and business development.

This is a results driven position that requires a do-er. Someone who isn’t too shy to pick up the phone and introduce themselves and responsible enough to manage a portfolio of key partners.  A strong understanding of a P&L and sales tools are an asset for this position, as well as having previous experience in a customer facing role.

– Work with Business Development Manager to develop and implement strategic sales plans and sales objectives
– Directs sales and marketing team to execute on contracts and opportunities.
– Manage a CRM
– Monitor + manage execution of client contracts including overseeing advertising and promotion activities, print, online, and digital campaigns
– Contribute to strategic plans for our partners to position their brand according to our brand guidelines and values as needed
– Prepare monthly sales reports
– Support with the creation of campaigns as needed
– Assist the team in the drafting creative briefs, budgets and deadlines
– Develop and manage sales and sales targets
– Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share targets in relation to preset standards and industry economic trends
– Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image
– Establishes and maintains relationships with industry partners, influencers and key partners
– Keep the team informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
– Attend weekly meeting and chair sales meetings

– 3-5 years related sales and Key account management and acquisition experience
– Experience in digital media sales is an asset
– Digital marketing experience is an asset
– Customer Facing Account Management experience
– Superior written and verbal communication skills
– Strong analytical skills, knowledge of CRM tools is an asset
– Understanding of P&L
– Proven presentation skills
– Exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask among a multitude of projects and responsibilities
