From pancakes to eggs to waffles and French toast, you can indulge in the most delicious brunch complemented with coffee or healthy smoothies. All you need is your date and a big appetite. To help you decide where to dine, we’ve curated a list of the best places to enjoy brunch in Toronto this Sunday.

Eggstatic

You can guess the menu is heavy on egg dishes, with the classics and creative egg dishes being served up to hungry diners. However, don’t dismiss this restaurant if eggs aren’t your favorite because there are many other mouthwatering dishes. We recommend dining on the stylish patio if the weather is good because sitting in the sun makes everything taste even better.

Top pick: Their Biscoff Lotus Pancakes with three pancake flapjacks, fresh strawberries, blueberries, grounded lotus biscuits, vanilla ice cream; Topped with rich creamy cookie butter sauce.

Where to find them: 1568 Bayview Ave, Toronto

The Morning After

The name is an invitation to those who might have been partying late last night. If that is you, the brunch here will ease you into Sunday in the best way possible. The menu is cleverly named with dishes like The Wreckage and Still Fried making us smile when ordering and eating. The chef has thoughtfully created vegan, dairy free and vegetarian dishes as well as hearty meat, egg and cheese-based temptations. There is something for everyone.

Top pick: Their Spill The Tea Pancakes with fresh to order buttermilk pancakes, coconut matcha custard, black sesame seeds, strawberries & coconut custard drizzle

Where to find them: 88 Fort York Blvd, Toronto

MARKED

This spot will certainly keep the party going on weekend mornings and afternoons. In the heart of downtown, MARKED serves up all-inclusive brunch and bubbles, meaning you can eat and sip small plates of brunch favourites and new, fusion dishes to your heart’s content!

The interior of MARKED is beautiful, making you feel classy while curing your morning after headache. 😉

Top pick: Their Dates with manchego, wrapped in smoked bacon and topped with a red wine reduction were the perfect savoury bite and impressed us so much, but we also loved the Manchego Biscuit Benedict.

Where to find them: 132 John Street, Toronto

Sophie’s Kitchen

We love the decor as much as the dishes at this quaint restaurant on Charles St East. The rustic interiors are cozy and the food is excellent. You will find a balance of healthy and decadent dishes to tempt your taste buds. It all makes us feel like this will be one of those lengthy brunches that stretches into the afternoon.

Top pick: Their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes that are house-made to order with a lemon ricotta finish, blueberry compote, and maple syrup.

Where to find them: 1614 Bayview Ave., Toronto

Farmhouse Tavern

Fresh farm-to-table dining is just what Sundays are made for. At the Farmhouse Tavern, the friendly staff will take you to your table as you admire the rustic surroundings. The menu is constantly changing with the seasons to use the fresh ingredients sourced by local farmers and suppliers.

Top pick: The Farmhouse BLT Sandwich served on a grilled house-made Pretzel Bun, double smoked thick cut Bacon, shredded Iceberg lettuce, Tomatoes and topped with our infamous Farmhouse Secret Sauce

Where to find them: 1627 Dupont St, Toronto

George Street Diner

We love a great retro diner and this place does it all just right. With tempting comfort food served to happy diners chilling out at the red booths, it is one of the best Sunday brunches in the city. Note it opens early at 8 am if you want an early brunch. After your appetite is satisfied, you can head to the nearby St. Lawrence Market.

Top pick: The Breakfast Burrito with sausage

Where to find them: 129 George St, Toronto
