An exciting and challenging position exists as a part-time Digital Media Content Coordinator at Date Night’s head office in Calgary. We are looking for an experienced self starter who is creative, highly organized, detail oriented and customer experience focused.

THE ROLE: The Digital Content Coordinator
This is a results driven position that requires a do-er. This role will support the day-to-day operations of the Marketing team including  project management, website content updates, digital and social media content execution and engagement, development of communications materials, data and analytics monitoring, reporting and trend analysis.

👀 RESPONSIBILITIES 👀

– Coordinating all content creation/update activities for the organizations website
– Working closely with the marketing team to support on day-to-day operations
– Maintaining/updating content calendar to support on client contract execution
– Targeting keywords set by the online marketing manager and basing articles around them.
– Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities
– Assisting the online marketing manager with copywriting
– Repurposing content for all and different mediums including photos and video
– Shoot, edit, repurpose photos and videos for promotional uses is a huge asset
– Working alongside the social media manager to create content for all social media channels
– Social and digital media content development, execution, monitoring and engagement
– Support on ongoing marketing KPI monitoring, metrics, analytics, data mining, website and other analytics, and other market intelligence as required

✍ SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS ✍

– Minimum 2+ years related experience
– Communications and or Marketing Degree or Diploma
– Creative minded with an ability to conceive fresh ideas for new content
– Knowledge and experience digital marketing and content management tools such as  social media plat   forms, analytic tools, scheduling apps
– Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics is an asset
– Novice Videography and Photography skills including editing is a competitive asset
– Experience with WordPress and or Squarespace platforms
– Previous experience working as a content coordinator or copywriter would be an advantage
– Self-driven go getter
– Communication proficiency both written and verbal
– Customer experience focused
