We’ve all been there – sick of the single life, so we download each and every app, cycle through, until it feels like there’s nobody else to swipe on. It feels discouraging and kinda like, “How could I possibly ever make a real connection with anyone on an app, where people are using their snap-judgement to decide based on a photo and a short bio, whether or not someone is right for them?”
So – come January, our friends on 17th Ave are hosting a singles event. Seven weeks of fun, singles-based events right on 17th ave at some of your favourite restaurants and businesses! Each event is designed with singles in mind, to take the awkwardness out of the initial first date so you can feel relaxed and like yourself, and maybe even find your forever date!
Love is on 17th Ave
17th Ave is a social hub in Calgary with over 700 diverse businesses, including award-winning restaurants, global cuisine and dozens of cafes, coffee shops and bakeries.
It also is one of the most robust retail sectors in Calgary with a large variety of shops and boutiques, but also has fitness studios and other wellness services such as salons and spas!
Not only is it a great place to run errands, but it’s also the place to be to meet new people, visit your favourite restaurants, and to host Calgary’s biggest single’s event!
