Enjoy an afternoon or evening of live music in a family- and dog-friendly environment with 16+ food trucks and a live DJ spinning beats.

Eat a hearty meal before attending this year’s Calgary International Beerfest, because the number of tasty brews you’re going to want to try will make your head spin. With over 700 beers from more than 200 breweries, you’ll be walking around for hours, sampling this and tasting that. From lagers and pale ales to crafts spirits and tasty eats, there’s no telling how you’re going to choose what to try next. Come with a good attitude and lots of time to spend learning and drinking the night away.

Between 13th avenue and Elbow Drive southwest, you’ll find blocks and blocks of locally-made artisanal goods, yummy treats, live entertainment and thousands of Calgarians roaming the streets. Make sure to arrive early so that you can snag a good parking spot, avoid the inevitable sunburn and stop to smell the lilacs. All ages are welcome at this event; view the performers’ line-up online so you can plan your visit accordingly.
Indie, bluegrass, acoustic, folk, soft rock – Folk Fest has got it all! Enjoy four days of sunshine as you sprawl out on Prince’s Island Park, taking in the sights, smells and sounds of local creators. From The Strumbellas and Valerie June to Half Moon Run and Tal Nation, you’ll hear a wide variety of music from newbies to old classics at this event.

Arrive on Main Street in Inglewood this August and you’ll find a stylish summer festival covering the streets with handmade trinkets, locally-made goods, delicious eats and live performers ready to entertain you all-day-long.
