1. Calgary Renovation Show
January 11th-13th at Various Times
BMO Centre, Halls D & E, 20 Roundup Way SW
Looking to tackle a home renovation project soon? The Calgary Renovation Show can help. Join hundreds of exhibitors as they offer their advice and insight in lighting, plumbing, construction, flooring, and more. There will also be a main stage presentation with Bryan Baeumler from hit shows Disaster DIY, Leave it to Bryan, House of Bryan, and more on HGTV Canada.
2. Ukrainian Festival
Granary Road, 226066 112 St W, De Winton
This weekend, head over to Granary Road to celebrate all things Ukrainian. With specialty market vendors, traditional cuisine, and an itinerary filled with events like a New Year’s Perogy Making Class and a Dough Baby Making Class, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
3. Catch a Flames Game
January 11th at 7pm and January 13th at 7:30pm
Scotiabank Saddledome, 555 Saddledome Rise SE
Come cheer on the Calgary Flames this Friday and Sunday. They’ll be facing off against the Florida Panthers on the 11th and the Arizona Coyotes on the 13th.
4. 10-Minute Play Festival
January 12th at 7:30pm
Martha Cohen Theatre, Arts Commons
Catch a 10-Minute Play Festival where six of the city’s most exciting theatre companies must create an original 10-minute play in 24 hours, inspired only by a prop and a line of dialogue. The event is part of Calgary’s annual High Performance Rodeo which celebrates the diversity in our city with an array of live performances from around the world. The plays is on January 12th but HPR will run until January 27th.
5. The Wedding Fair
January 13th from 9:30am-5pm
BMO Centre (Halls A, B & C), Stampede Park, 20 Roundup Way SE
