Calgary Stampeders v BC Lions

What do you get when you combine football and country music? Probably the best date of the summer. The Calgary Stampeders have finished pre-season and kicked off with their home opener last weekend and we couldn’t be more excited that football is back. Whether you’re loyal Stamps fans or just like the atmosphere at the games, heading to McMahon to catch the next Stampeders game will light up your scoreboard with your date.

To charge for your next date night and line it up with June 28th to impress your date with a Thursday night football experience. Have dinner at your favourite restaurant before the 7pm kickoff or head to the stadium early to chow down on a hot dog or chicken fingers; no judgment here. The Stamps will be taking on the RedBlacks celebrating Canada Day a little early. Seal the deal on your date experience with the James Barker Band halftime show. Their debut EP “Game On” has accumulated over 30 million streams, five top-10 hits at Canadian country radio and three gold-certified singles. Watch great football and listen to great music, we can’t think of anything better to cheers our stadium beers to.

If you can’t make it to the upcoming game, there are plenty of themed nights coming up during the season. We know bae isn’t too picky and would be down for any football game he gets to watch with you. Fan Appreciation night is happening July 21 when the Stamps take on the Alouettes. Bring a non-perishable food item or cash and have the chance to take your photo with the Grey Cup. All proceeds and food are in support of the Calgary Food Bank as part of the Purolator Tackle Hunger program. You can’t go wrong with a feel-good date.

Other game nights you want to put in your calendar: Legacy Night on August 4, Family Day on August 25, and the Labour Day Classic on September 3.
