3. Twelfth Night
January 30th-February 24th
Theatre Calgary, 240 9 Ave SE
Website

The perfect date night out. Watch as twins Viola and Sebastian are separated in a shipwreck and forced to find their way in a strange new land on their own. Fortunately, Illyria holds much misadventure, love, and laughter for them both. This refreshing take on Shakespeare’s classic comedy will leave you rolling in the aisles and begging for a thirteenth night.

4. Wing Woman
January 31st from 6-8pm
Commonwealth Bar & Stage, 731 10 Ave SW
Website

Taking a speed dating format, Wingwoman’s monthly event is designed to connect women with other women in a fun, approachable and non-boring networking way – trust us, there will be no unflattering power suits or stuffy conference rooms here. Instead, this casual power hour will give you the opportunity to chat it up with other fierce, like-minded women for three minutes at a time, with the goal of finding the perfect match for what you’re missing in your tribe. And since not all women have the same needs (duh!), we offer different themes monthly so you can get the most of your time and get back to building your empire.

5. Glenbow Launch Party
February 2nd, 7:30pm – 10pm
Glenbow Museum, 130 – 9th Avenue SE

Join us on Friday to celebrate art, music and people at Glenbow Launch Party. This opeing will be dedicated to Frida Kahlo: Her Photos and the latest edition of the One New Work series featuring John Will. There’ll be live music by Feel Alright, a great DJ, Myke Atkinson, fun activities in the Discovery Room, a cash bar and several hundred of your newest friends.
