When you think of Valentine’s Day, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Dinner with a dozen roses? So cliche. Take your 2018 V-Day to the next level with the Calgary Zoo. No date night is complete without getting to experience it with the lions, tigers and gorillas – am I right? Especially when you’re talking about how they get it on out there in the wild.
On February 13 and 14, the Calgary Zoo is hosting an adults-only candlelight dinner for you and your boo – it’s going to be romantic AF. Kick things off with a glass of Prosecco as you walk through the door. Things will heat up as you enjoy a delicious meal and listen to romantic wandering violinists. Spend the rest of the evening listening to educational talks, playing games and experiencing a playful intimate exchange about romance in the wild. Plus, there will be a cash bar to keep the evening lit all night long.
You’ll push your Valentine’s Day to new levels and expand your animal mating knowledge with one of the Zoo’s experts, Gillian Cardwell. This lady knows all of Mother Nature’s tools of the trade and she won’t censor it as she shares the 50 Shades in the animal kingdom. You and your sweetheart will be blushing and giggling through a romantic and education evening about courtship, mating and reproduction. This will be one steamy evening you won’t want to miss. At the end of the night, take bae home and do it like they do on the Discovery Channel.
