This week head to Bar C for the three-course Mealshare menu.
For the last month, car2go and Mealshare have been coming together for Ride2Dine, a six week long initiative to help fight hunger. We’re only half way through, so you still have three more weeks to treat yourself, and someone in need. At each participating restaurant, every time the three course Mealshare menu is ordered, a meal is also provided to someone in need.
This week it’s Bar C’s turn. If you haven’t already checked out this upscale contemporary lounge, now’s as good a time as any. It’s a great spot for a dinner party or an intimate date night for two. Order the Mealshare menu below and have an adventure through the hand-crafted cocktail list. Wednesday is practically Thursday and Thursday is the new Friday, right?
Check out bar-c.ca for their full wine and cocktail menu. Good luck choosing just one.
When you order the Mealshare menu, your first course is a charcuterie board with elk salami, tripe creme brie, grizzly gouda, fig and rosemary jam, pickled vegetables, fruit, and bread.
If your mouth isn’t already watering …
The main course is the Pan Roasted Free Range Chicken: scallion mash, glazed brussel sprouts, chorizo and preserved lemon, pan jus. And for dessert they’re serving up a Baked Hot Chocolate Souffle with milk chocolate shavings and a fruit and coconut macaroon. Perfect for a chilly November night.
This entire meal comes to $40, but if you show your server your car2go profile, you’ll receive 40% off. Bar C is featuring this menu tonight and tomorrow for dinner only, so send that date of yours a message ASAP.
(For future date nights, Tuesdays at Bar-C are buck-a-shuck night. That means $1 oysters.)
