1. Calgary International Blues Festival
July 31st - August 6th
Celebrate the 13th annual Calgary International Blues Festival from July 31st to August 6th. This is a full week of Blues workshops, concerts, and special events happening across the city. From August 3rd to 6th, there will be non-stop Blues music playing on the main stage at Shaw Millennium Park. Also expect to see a colourful arts market, festival souvenirs, and delicious food truck eats.
2. Market on Stephen Ave
August 1st from 11am - 5pm
It’s baaaaacckk, YYC! The Market on Stephen Ave is back bigger and better than ever with three more blocks for you to explore this year. Join them every second Tuesday until the finale on September 5th for a plethora of vendors including fresh fruits, spices, fashion, art, and more. See you on the “Walk!”
3. Movies at the Meadows - Beauty & The Beast
August 2nd from 7:30pm - 11:30pm
Every Wednesday night until August 23, Spruce Meadows will be screening movies on an outdoor screen. Bring a blanket and your date and get ready to cuddle up under the stars with popcorn and movie treats while you enjoy this week’s pre-release film of Beauty and the Beast. Movies are $20/carload at the gate or $15/carload if purchased in advance online.
4. Calgary Food Tours - Craving Kensington
August 3rd from 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Starting Point: Pulcinella Restaurant
Come spend an evening with your boo in one of Calgary’s favourite neighbourhoods. Calgary Food Tours’ will be taking a trip through Kensington to explore six beloved food spots in the ‘hood. Treats range from Neapolitan pizza and cupcakes to elegant bites and cheese and wine pairings.

Tanya Tucker, one of the most admired and respected female vocalists in the Country Music game is hitting up Grey Eagle this week. She’ll be bringing her sultry voice and engaging stage presence along with her for a show you won’t soon forget.
