Saint Patrick's Day began as a cultural and religious celebration to honour the death of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. We're not entirely sure how, but somewhere down the road it's morphed into the best excuse to hangout and drink green beer with your friends. From parades to parties, this day is celebrated all over the world, and Calgary's no exception. Not sure what to do? Well since it falls on a Friday you’ll have the whole weekend to get your green on.
